  Getting There

Flying to Israel
There are daily flights to Israel from most UK and European capitals with both Israeli and other major airline companies. More recently a number of discounted airlines have also begun operating flights 3-4 times a week.
Israel has Two main International airports:
Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV BGN) located in central Israel is 20 mins from Tel Aviv and 40 mins from Jerusalem. Most visitors choose to arrive and depart from this airport.
Ovda International Airport (VDA) located in southern Israel is 50mins from Eilat. Most visitors choose Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv, though those on package holidays with chartered airlines often fly directly to Ovda International near Eilat.
Domestic Flights
There are number of domestic airline companies operating flights to numerous destinations within Israel.  There are quite often very reasonably priced flights offered and worth checking out if time is a little short.
Travel by Land
Traveling by land between Israel and Jordan or Israel and Egypt (or vice versa) is relatively easy.
Be sure to check your visa requirements for both Egypt & Jordan should you decide on this option.
Three border crossing points are open between Israel and Jordan:
Northern Israel - Sheikh Hussein Bridge
Central Israel - Allenby-King Hussein Bridge
Southern Israel - The Arava
Two borders crossing points are open between Israel and Egypt:
Southern Israel - Rafiah
Southern Israel - Taba
Travel by Sea
Regular ferry services operate between Greece, Cyprus and Haifa for those who enjoy ocean going transportation.  An increasing number of cruise ships also visit Israel, enjoying stopovers in Haifa, Eilat and Ashdod.
