Weather and Clothing - Jerusalem

Clothing tends to be informal in Israel.

It is recommended to wear modest clothing when visiting Holy Sites.

Winter: In the winter, bring clothing for rainy weather. You can expect rainy weather from approximately November to early April. In the winter, it also gets quite cold.

Summer: In the heat of summer, it is recommended to wear a hat and drink lots of water. Jerusalem summer days are hot, but nights can be cool, so bring a light jacket or sweater.
