Tel Aviv & Jaffa >> Travel Guide
The secret is out …Tel Aviv is THE new Super Cool City to visit.
For the city break connoisseur and those in the know, Tel Aviv has long been a favorite spot. However, it seems this sun drenched vibrant city has begun to take centre stage in the holiday market and both the city and its residents are loving the limelight.
The recent influx of new comers visiting the upbeat and friendly city of Tel Aviv from all corners of the globe has been astonishing. Walk along any one of the many tree – lined boulevards and the mix of languages will simply astound you.
And while there are many individual reasons that this city is on the top of their favorites list, all seem to agree on one thing… Tel Aviv will take your heart like no other city ever has before.
Tel Aviv Coast LineSitting on a 14km stretch of white sandy beaches and boasting over 300 days of sunshine a year, Tel Aviv is the perfect destination for those looking to escape winter and head for the sunshine. Jam packed with sidewalk cafes, restaurants, bars, world class clubs, art galleries, boutiques, markets, museums, theatres and delightful leafy parks this lively cosmopolitan city has much to offer.
A lingering Mediterranean promenade running from the north of Tel Aviv all the way to the old town of Jaffa is a delightful way to explore the coastal treasures of the city.  While a stroll through the leafy inner city streets, will surely enchant you with its unique mix of sophisticated and exotic riches.
Whether its shopping, exploring, eating, dancing, relaxing or all of the above that creates your dream vacation… Tel Aviv has it all. Unique tourist sights, small cafes and bars on quaint streets, modern shopping centers, diversified art and culture, divine restaurants, night clubbing and of course the long white sandy beaches, all right on your doorstep make it easy to travel the city by foot, bus, bike or taxi… everything  is incredibly accessible.
Tip: relax about the language… most Israelis speak good English and are exceptionally friendly, so its easy to find your way…and easier still to make friends. Don’t hesitate to ask for help with directions or recommendation for a great place to eat, drink party or shop.
Tip: when the urge takes you to venture outside the city to the many places of interest in Israel, know that you are extremely well located. Excellent transport links from the city are available for day trips to Jerusalem, Acre, Haifa, and the Sea of Galilee. Even the Dead Sea is only a short two and a half hour drive from the city.
Getting there:
There is an extensive public transport sytem (trains & buses) that links Tel Aviv to the rest of Israel. Getting to and from Tel Aviv from anywhere is a piece of cake.
From The International Airport:  Tel Aviv is only 30 mins from the airport. There is a frequent train service taking you right to the centre of the city.
Taxi's are also available and affordable.
Why Go:
The beaches, the nightlife, the atmosphere, the food, the people, the shopping, the Tel Aviv experience.
