The Ghetto Fighters' Museum
Visit this state of the art interactive museum and learn about the uprising in different Ghettos during world war II. Unfold the personal stories of the Fighters and follow their path from Europe all the way to Israel. Using large screens, interactive displays and recorded personal testimonies, this museum brings to life the courageous stories of the Ghetto Fighters.
The Ghetto Fighters’ House was founded on April 1949 by Holocaust survivors, ghetto fighters and partisans, who settled in the Western Galilee and set up Kibbutz Lohamei HaGetaot and a museum, the first Holocaust museum in the World. The kibbutz and the museum are located on the main road (Route 4) from Acre to Nahariya.
